Light the night sky during the 2013 holiday season with your tribute gift lights on the Trees of Life as a thoughtful and meaningful way to honor or remember your loved ones, friends, associates or others.
Your donation is indeed a special gift to your community too because it supports many local non-profits that help people live with dignity, peace and comfort in their final weeks of life, and supports emotional and care support for local families.
BONUS IMPACT: Your donation dollars stretch across the needs of many agencies all at once!
Suggested minimum donation of $25 for each light tribute = one acknowledgement card sent.
Hundreds of white tribute lights fill four Trees of Life in Monterey, Salinas, and King City, and in Hollister, San Benito County.
Bring your family to the joyful lighting and music events! See dates and details below.
After you make your tax-deductible gift, we’ll send a gift card to the person, or to his or her family, for whom you’ve named the light, with an invitation to attend the lighting event. You will receive an invitation with your gift receipt.
The name of the donor and the person for whom a light has been named will be recorded in our Book of Names. See it on display at each of the tree lightings. It will remain in the lobbies of each of the tree locations throughout the holidays.

A Crystal Ornament
For a $250 donation, you receive a beautiful crystal ornament, etched with a nautilus shell image and year 2013. Keep it for your family to enjoy or send it along to someone else as a gift.
We will engrave the ornament with a name or wording of your choice, up to 18 letters.
All tribute light donations fund end-of-life care programs and services in Monterey and San Benito counties.
Twelve local organizations received funding in fall 2013 from Hospice Foundation, totaling just over $1 million.
These funds were raised in part from Trees of Life tribute donations made the previous year, in 2012.
The 2013 grants will be announced in October, 2013. Our Trees of Life fundraising goal for 2013 is $75,000. You can help!
